Por fin estos sátrapas de la música nos deleitan con sus Bets chorriados de acordes y vientos eclécticos. Luego de su disco debut homónimo (Balkan Beat Box) en el año 2005, esta bands cosmopolita asentada en Nueva York lanzó al mercado en Mayo su disco “Nu Med”. Para los que no hayan tenido el placer de escucharlos ellos realizan una mezcla de ritmos de la zona de los Balcanes, danzas húngaras, búlgaras, rumanas, etc; una pizca de sonoridades del medio oriente y fusionado con toques electrónicos,
logrando uno de los sonidos mas reconocidos de la escena del rock independiente de la onda Kusturisa que éste Sr. Impuso en occidente, con tan buenos fruto$. La base de este grupo se ve fuertemente potenciada con músicos invitados en sus sesiones de estudio como el la mayoría de sus concretos.
